Typical client order process
Brief overview of typical client order start to finish
Once we have received an enquiry from a prospective client we normally call them to introduce our services and to get an overview of what furniture is required and an idea of whether their property is for their use or for rental.
Next we will forward our standard furniture packs (which include all the main furniture that would be required for a 2 bedroom property and a terrace) along with the additional extras like lighting, soft furnishings, homeware, white goods, pictures etc. We also email some links that show some recently finished apartments and villas, many of which have been based on a pack but tweaked to fit their property better or their colour choices. For example, a client may like a sofa bed instead of a sofa, or two bedrooms set up as doubles, extra storage within a TV unit – all of these will be possible.
We will then discuss likes and dislikes and create a proposal and pricing for the property, and if we don´t know the property, accurate plans are always useful at this stage. We will discuss by phone or at the property when the client is over – we will then also take the opportunity to take all measurements to ensure that any items ordered will fit the space correctly, measure for curtains and blinds and check space available and type of lighting required for example. At this stage, we will then also discuss all style and wood options, show samples of the fabrics and leathers available for sofas and headboards.
Once the proposal is agreed, if we have not visited the property, we will require access to the property to check everything will fit well and then make any changes if necessary.
Then the client need do nothing else, we make all the orders with the Spanish manufacturers, chase all the orders, take delivery of everything. Then we load all the items in our trucks and arrive at your property, whether you are there or have given us access – all the items are unloaded, unpacked, installed, hung as necessary, beds made and all packaging taken away. Ready for the client or their guests…
